    • Seafood Watch employs more than 23 staff and enlists more than 40 contractors and reviewers who help produce approximately 75 new and updated recommendation reports annually, covering hundreds of wild-caught and farmed seafood species.
  • Number of Seafood Recommendations:
    • Seafood Watch recommendations total more than 1,100, representing close to 350 species.
  • Distribution:
    • Seafood Watch has distributed more than 58 million Seafood Watch guides since 1999.
    • The free Seafood Watch App (available for iOS and Android) has been downloaded more than 2 million times. ­­­­­­
  • Business and Conservation Partners:
    • Seafood Watch works with more than 200 conservation partners (zoos, aquariums, science museums, nature centers and other non-profits) across Asia, Europe and North and South America.
    • More than 300 business partners in over 13,000 locations are part of Seafood Watch’s business program. This includes individual restaurants throughout the country as well as major buyer companies such as Whole Foods, Blue Apron, Compass Group and Aramark who make time-bound commitments to source only environmentally-responsible seafood.
    • Globally, it is estimated that more than 68,000 locations reference Seafood Watch recommendations to help inform their purchasing decisions.
