Monterey Bay Aquarium presents "Beyond Blue" at The Yard in SF

What: Monterey Bay Aquarium invites you to The Yard at Mission Rock​ for the unveiling of "Beyond Blue," an aquarium-commissioned mural by noted post-pop artist Aaron Kai. On Saturday, July 16 from 1 to 3 p.m. enjoy music, prizes, delicious food and beverage from local partners and be among the first to see artist Aaron Kai’s gorgeous new addition to the community space. ​

Where: The Yard​ at Mission Rock. Open year-round, 7 days per week, The Yard occupies a portion of the San Francisco Giants Parking Lot A, at the corner of 3rd St. and Terry Francois Blvd.

Description: Celebrate the unveiling of a new ocean-themed mural from Aaron Kai, whose vibrant wave designs are recognized worldwide. The colorful mural showcases the beauty of San Francisco Bay and highlights the Monterey Bay Aquarium mission: to inspire conservation of the ocean. Part of the aquarium’s summer marketing campaign, the goal is to educate and inspire visitors to The Yard, raising awareness of ocean plastic pollution through a powerful piece of pop art.
