Lorraine Yglesias directs the marketing programs at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. She joined the aquarium as its first Hispanic Marketing Coordinator, moving into a management position a few years later.
Lorraine created programs and special events to appeal to the growing Hispanic community in Central California. As a result, the aquarium saw a gradual rise in attendance by and involvement from that audience. She now oversees integration of outreach initiatives involving both the Hispanic and general markets.
Prior to joining the aquarium, she worked in the communications and entertainment industry in Los Angeles and San Jose. Lorraine holds a bacherlor of arts degree in Communication from Loyola Marymount University.
